Student Ministry
Youth Director: Chris Thrower

The Student Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church is committed to leading teenagers into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through the following means:

  • Bible Study. We believe Paul when he tells Timothy, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV) As a result, we strive to dig into the Scriptures with our students in order that they may know who God is, what Christ has done, and what His will is for their lives. ‚Äč
  • Fellowship. We trust God's Word when it says, "As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."  (Proverbs 27:16-18 NKJV) Therefore, we believe it is important for our teenagers to spend time together with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
  • Missions. Jesus commanded His Church to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV) We believe the Great Commission extends to our students, as well, and therefore we desire to give them opportunities to express their faith practically through local mission projects.

Above all, it is our desire to live out 1 Corinthians 2:2 in our Student Ministry: to know nothing among us except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. We believe that the gospel transforms lives for the glory of God, and therefore we strive to center our lives around it.
